Bruce Davis is Vice President of Finance and Accounting for Comcast Media Center (CMC). In this position, he is responsible for overseeing the CMC's financial management systems, day-to-day accounting management and facilities management. As a member of the CMC's senior management team, Davis also oversees the development of financial models for new product development and assists it clients in determining the economic benefits of implementing its services.
Davis, who joined the CMC in 2000 when it was operating as the AT&T Digital Media Centers, has more than 20 years' experience in the cable and telecommunications industries. His cable industry experiences include 10 years in the tax and accounting departments of Time Warner Cable and its predecessor ATC (American Television and Communications Corporation) and at Time Warner Telecom, where he served as the senior manager of finance. Davis, who became interested in the cable industry after working on cable systems acquisitions for cable pioneers Bill Daniels and Glenn Jones, also worked as a controller in the wholesale group for Qwest Communications prior to its acquisition of the US West Media Group. US West Media's holding included the former Continental Cablevision cable properties as well as systems acquired from other cable MSOs.
Davis, who became a CPA in 1986, holds a B.S in Accounting and Finance from the University of Colorado.
