Thomas L. Engdahl is Senior Vice President & General Manager of Radiance Technologies, a wholly owned business operation of the Comcast Media Center. Based in Santa Clara, Radiance is a leading provider of asset delivery systems for moving and managing large digital assets. Its patented technologies for scheduling and executing data transfers, and for controlling data transfer rates, are currently supporting the asset management and delivery requirements for Fortune 500 companies in the aerospace, automotive and advertising industries, among others. Prior to the CMC's asset purchase of Radiance, Engdahl had served as the company's President and CEO since joining its leadership team in October, 2005. With 30 years of entrepreneurship, engineering, marketing, and management experience, Engdahl has founded and lead six other successful start-up companies: Applied Digital Access (ADAX), Pathfire Inc., Kasenna Inc., Alloptic Inc., Avasta Inc., and Alopa Networks Inc.

In addition, Engdahl has held key positions at companies such as M/A-Com, Northern Telecom, DSC Communications, and Pacific Bell. He holds nine patents for telecommunications and video-cable products and has been active in setting standards in the telecom industry since 1984.
