Quick Take Plus (QT+) is a service that combines HITS Quantum services with Motorola conditional access. This provides a cable operator the ability to add more than 280 linear Standard Definition (SD) and High Definition (HD) services; DVR, and impulse pay-per-view to customers; thus creating more revenue opportunities and subscriber growth.
Going Digital or Improving Digital
QT+ can either be built on to an existing Quick Take system or it can be newly installed to upgrade an all analog system. When building on to the existing Quick Take system it allows you to continue using the DSR470 set-top boxes for customers (SD only) and mix in the latest set-top boxes from Motorola with advanced features like HD and DVR capabilities, and MPEG-4 when services become available (Requires DCX series set-tops).
